Dr. Kim's journey in dentistry began at a young age when she left her home in South Korea at 15 to study abroad in Canada. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Biology from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 2004. She then went on to receive both her Master's in Public Health (M.P.H.) in 2005 and her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree in 2009 from West Virginia University. Dr. Kim has been the owner dentist at Burlingame Dental since 2012. She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Mateo County Dental Society, Special Care Dentistry Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and American Academy of Clear Aligners ( Invisalign Provider). In addition to her dedication to her practice, Dr. Kim is committed to lifelong learning, regularly attending dental continuing education courses both locally and internationally. Outside the office, she enjoys an active personal life, often hiking and painting with her three children.
